If you really have to go to New Haven, Modern is worth while to check out. Frank Pepe is overrated and we've never been to Sally's to recommend. These are the big 3 in New Haven.

Home made ice-cream with a variety of flavors. Only 5 minutes from where we live in Middletown. This is why we can't drop our gym membership ;(
